FOX announced its midseason premiere dates of returning series — “Touch” and “American Idol” and new show — “The Following” today.
“American Idol” with judges Nicki Minja, Mariah Carey, Randy Jackson and Keith Urban will debut its 12th season in a two-night premiere. The premiere begins Wednesday, Jan. 16 at 8 p.m. ET and Thursday, Jan. 17 at 8 p.m. ET.
“The Following,” which stars Kevin Bacon as a FBI agent tracking down a serial killer (James Purefoy) will debut Monday, Jan. 21 at 9 p.m. ET.
The delayed second season of Kiefer Sutherland’s “Touch” will bow out Friday, Feb. 1 at 9 p.m. ET, with Maria Bello and Lukas Haas as series regulars.
