‘Grey’s Anatomy’: Season 8 Ep 21-22.

The Ultimate Question: Who failed the boards?

GREY'S ANATOMY - "Moment of Truth" - After eight years of practice, the residents head to San Francisco for their oral boards; sparks fly between Catherine and Richard when they bump into each other at the hotel; Bailey intervenes after Owen and Teddy get into a heated argument about their young car crash patient; and Mark tries to recruit Lexie for one of his cases. Meanwhile, Alex feels guilty for being away from the hospital when Tommy's health begins to fail, on Grey's Anatomy, THURSDAY, APRIL 26 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. (ABC/RICHARD CARTWRIGHT)SARAH DREW, JESSE WILLIAMS

I don’t even know if this counts as a recap, but can I just say how much I loved this episode?! It’s my favorite episode this season. It keeps getting better! I didn’t write a recap last week, because it wouldn’t have done the episode justice.

The drama with the Boards exam continued and it was so intense; Meredith was sick, Kepner got into a fight and she liked it, Karev’s mind was in Seattle, Avery broke his lucky pencil. LoL! Just when you think the interview is going well, someone snaps, mostly the interviewee. At the beginning of this episode, it was so hard to determine who will pass the Boards.

Alex left for Seattle before the boards started because he couldn’t stop thinking about his patient (Intern’s baby). On getting to Seattle, there wasn’t much to do and the baby died. Robbins convinced him to go back for his boards, he was already late and the traffic didn’t help either, so he had to run to the venue which was 20 blocks away from the traffic jam. He arrived at the venue after the first session ended, but according to the rules, you can pass the boards if you get a perfect score in two out of three sessions. He was prepared to give it his best, but the interviewers seemed like they couldn’t get past the fact that he was late and they had been waiting for him all morning.

Meredith’s stomach flu wasn’t helping either, she vomitted several times and she almost quit the interview. She called Derek and said “Will you still love me if I fail?” As prescribed by Bailey, Derek decided to go with the ‘metaphor style’ and it worked, because Meredith was even more motivated to finish the interview. She continued to throw up in front of the interviewers…and she did it in the trash can…ewww! But who cares?! She was confident and she knew what she was talking about. :)

Cristina and her interviewer were not getting along at all. They were two geniuses from completely different generations. As we all know Christina has her smart, but aggressive way of doing things, the interviewer didn’t get why she was so confident that her methods would work. Cristina tried to tolerate the interviewer, but when she couldn’t take it any longer, she snapped and gave him a lecture! “Just tell me the decade you want and I’ll provide the answer” Haha. Lol.

Jackson had seen his mum earlier with Webber when he went to get his lucky pencil and he was grossed out, so his day started out rough. But it got even worse when he found out that his mum was the interviewer in the next room. It was so hard to focus on his interview as he heard his mother’s loud and unending laughter. Poor Avery :( his second session was better after his “encounter with Kepner.” ;)

Kepner was crazy! Haha! Lol! This episode was the most face-time she ever got since the beginning of the season! Like the others, her interview wasn’t going so well. She bent the rules of the interview, she yelled, screamed, took off her jacket and did a lil dance for the interviewers. She was cracking me up… haha! Poor girl. She was trying so hard not to fail that she ruined the interview. During her second session, she was rambling and saying things that were irrelevant to the questions being asked. She was really trying to process what happened with Avery and how she had gone against her values.

They all found out their results and it was just like Avery’s Mum said “only four out of five passed.”

So who failed? The  look on Kepner’s face pretty much gives away the answer :( but we can’t be so sure! (there could be a twist)

Moving on to  non-board related issues…Mark and Lexie?!  She confessed…OMG! like 10 times…aww! The moment we have all been waiting for! But Julia is still in the picture. :( I smell drama…Are they getting back together?

Here is the preview for the next episode… see for your self! :)

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 8 Ep. 20: The Girl With No Name

“When you are a kid, you always want things to stay the same, the same teacher, same house, same friends. Being a Surgeon is no different, you get used to the same attendings, same scrub nurses, same hospital…Of course, that all changes, the minute fifth-year comes around and you have to find a new job…it’s one of those things people say, you can’t move on until you have left go of the past, letting go is the easy part, it’s the moving on that is painful, so sometimes we fight it, try and keep things the same, things can’t stay the same though, at some point you just have to let go, move on! Because no matter how painful it is, it’s the only way we grow” Meredith Grey (Episode Narrative).

GREY'S ANATOMY - "The Girl with No Name" - The doctors work on a Jane Doe, who turns out to be the subject of a case that gained national interest; Cristina proves to be the highest in demand as the residents begin their interviews for post-residency positions at prospective hospitals; and Richard is faced with an unsettling realization when he visits Adele at Rose Ridge, on "Grey's Anatomy," THURSDAY, APRIL 19 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. (ABC/RANDY HOLMES)VANESSA MARANO, ELLEN POMPEO, PATRICK DEMPSEY

This episode was centered around the ‘fifth-years’, their job interviews, and a really traumatized patient. The patient was supposedly a hiker that fell and was badly injured. Soon after she got to the hospital, Meredith noticed the scars on her body and she realized that the patient wasn’t hiking, but she had been running from someone. From her scans Teddy saw signs that show that the girl had been tortured. Apparently, She was kidnapped when she was 6 years old and the Kidnapper lived 5 miles from her parent’s house, but they didn’t find her until now (12 years later). It was sad to watch that some people have actually been through what the patient had been through-kidnapped, raped, tortured, and isolated from everyone at such a young age. There was work to be done on the patient by almost every department in the hospital. The patient formed a bond with Meredith (the psychiatrist wasn’t so happy about this) and she needed her approval for everything, everyone around her seemed like a stranger and whenever she was asked a question, she turned to Meredith before answering.

The doctors were freaked out by this case; Owen had to deal with a lot of administrative stuff around the hospital as the press gathered to feed on the story of the patient, Cristina was also there to encourage him and he looked like he needed her approval for everything. It was so hard to contain what the patient had gone through, especially for Bailey…she knew the story of how the patient had gone missing and she never stopped thinking about it. She even had a panic attack at the daycare when her son was missing. She turned the place upside down and even started crying, but it wasn’t the kidnapper (Thank Goodness), Tucker (her son) had a nosebleed and a nurse had taken him outside to get it treated. Derek and Mark witnessed the whole thing and they realized the intensity of the situation. Every parent’s worst nightmare is for their child to go missing right under their nose.

Cristina was quite the catch for the recruiters, she got offers from the best places more than everyone else and there was a basket of goodies from each one of them to convince her to work for them. Teddy doesn’t want her to leave and she tells Owen to make her stay (she didn’t get the memo about the break up o_o), but Owen yelled at her and made it clear to Teddy that she wasn’t in a position to talk to him about such matters. However, Cristina seemed to be determined to leave Seattle, but Meredith? Not so much, she’s loving the way things are right now so she is not eager to leave. She even tried to avoid the interview Bailey had set up for her, but at the end of the day she went. Dear writers, she is not really leaving right? Because there can’t be Grey’s Anatomy without Meredith Grey! #justsaying

As for the other fifth years, April’s interview didn’t go so well. She did all the talking and she was very confident about her resume. Sometimes it’s not all about what you have done, but who you are! At the end of the day, personality goes a long way! April rants to her colleagues about the situation, but Alex’s situation is even worse as he hasn’t been getting calls from the big places like others. Arizona didn’t want him to leave so she had been messing with his recommendations and referring him to smaller hospitals in places like Toledo, Canada…Ohio! haha! LOL!

No matter how far he runs or how hard he tries, Jackson Avery can’t seem to get away from his name or his family’s achievement. His Mentor, Mark had gotten him an interview, but they seem to be interested in his family rather than what he had to offer as a surgeon. Poor baby. :( Speaking of sad, I feel really bad for Webber, his sick wife barely remembers him and she is seeing someone else! Wow…Life!!

This was a really great episode filled with a lot of emotions; sadness, laughter, anger, anxiety, and fear. It was a great episode!!! <;3

Omg! the next episode promises to be even better!!! so excited, we are going to see some action! hint: Lexie and Mark? Kepner and Avery! Finally! What happens after the boards?!

Here’s the preview for the next episode!

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 8 Ep 19 Recap: Support System

“Every little kid knows the words to this song, ‘the foot bone is connected to the leg bone, the leg bone is connected to the knee bone’ In medical school it’s little more complicated than that, but still the song is not wrong, everything is connected! The human body is made of systems that keep it alive, there’s the one that keeps you breathing and the one that keeps you standing, the one that makes you hungry and the one that makes you happy, they are all connected! Take a piece out and everything else falls apart! And it’s only when our support systems look like they might fail us that we realize how much we depended on them all along” –Meredith Grey (Episode Narrative)

GREY'S ANATOMY - "Support System" - A devastated Cristina presses Owen to confess the intimate details of his affair; Mark takes his new authority very seriously when he steps in as chief for the day and butts heads with Richard over a patient's liver transplant; and Callie deems Meredith ready for the boards, while the rest of the residents continue to stress about the exam. Meanwhile, Callie, Arizona and Bailey plan a much needed ladies night for Teddy, on "Grey's Anatomy," THURSDAY, APRIL 12 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. (ABC/ADAM LARKEY)ERIC DANE, JAMES PICKENS JR.

As we have seen in the past few episodes, Cristina and Owen are having major issues and this episode picked up right where they left off last week …you know after the bowl of cereal made it’s way to Owen’s face. LOL. Cristina finally spoke to Owen, but she wanted to know every little (painful) detail about the affair. Of course, that wasn’t such a good idea, but by now we should be used to Cristina’s weird and twisted behavior. I really thought she was going crazy in this episode; she cried, locked herself up in the bathroom and even missed work…hello?! Cristina Yang not showing up for work?! That freaked me out a little, afterall work was basically what she always wanted to do, performing surgeries is her life! But right now, there were other pressing issues more important than surgery (for now). She was really trying to understand why Owen cheated and after many hours of analyzing and arguing she got the answer, but it wasn’t pleasant! At the end of the day it all comes down to the ‘baby’ issue :(

Due to the ‘Owentina’ drama and their impromptu sick leave, McSteamy took up Owen’s responsibility as the Chief of Surgery. ‘All Hail the Chief” Haha! I didn’t see that one coming, but he was great. The doctors were not so pleased about this temporary change and it was hard for them to take him seriously (especially Shepherd), but they went with the flow…well expect for Dr Webber towards the end of the episode, but the results turned out to be good. :) McSteamy was really into the whole ‘Chief’ thing and he wanted to do well as he might not get another chance! They enjoyed his baked goods and the motivational quotes also helped some of them :) but Owen never asked him to be Chief! Sneaky Sloan, I knew something was fishy! ;)

Ladies Night: Arizona and Callie decided to cheer Teddy up by having Ladies Night, but they invited Bailey so that it’s not too awkward. Bailey reluctantly agreed, but she later found out that Ben made plans for the two of them. She tried to back out of Ladies Night, but they other ladies (Callizona) were going to do the same too! At the end of the day, they fell for Teddy’s sad situation and they had Ladies Night (half-heartedly). Poor Bailey! Lol!

Meanwhile, the fifth-years are still studying for the boards. Meredith seemed to be ready after learning with the ‘Torres method,’ but others (Karev, Kepner & Avery) were still struggling. Their hypothetical method wasn’t working, so they decided to look at real cases. Unfortunately, there were so many case files to be studied in a short period as the Lady in charge of Library wouldn’t let the files out of her sight. Lexie is known to have a photographic memory, so they hijacked her to help memorize all the cases. By the way, who knew Kepner could be so petty?! Haha! “The things we do for boards” Lol! At the end of the day, Lexie was exhausted and her brain had enough already. Their plan failed, but Meredith offered them the ‘Grey’s Method!’ Yay! Looks like everyone will be passing the exam :)

This was a good episode :) It had a lot of ‘aww’ moments!

Here’s the Preview for the next episode.

Enjoy :)

“Grey’s Anatomy” airs Thurs. at 9/8c on ABC.

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 8 ep.18: The Lion Sleeps Tonight

“We have a phrase in the operating room ‘don’t pet the Lion’ it means no matter nice a tumor looks, how small it is, how perfect it margins may be. It’s still a tumor, it is still dangerous and it can bite…we’ve all heard the warning, but we’ve ignored them. We push our luck, we roll the dice. It’s human nature when we are told not to touch something, we usually do! Even if we know better. Maybe because deep down we are just asking for trouble.” – Meredith Grey (Episode Narrative)

This episode opens with Meredith, Zola, and Derek in their car and suddenly a Lion appeared on the road! Yes, a real Lion not the one coming out of Zola’s mouth.Lol! They could not contain their excitement and they told everyone they met as soon as they arrived at work. Unfortunately, everyone seemed to be having relationship issues, so they were not so interested in hearing the epic story about how a Lion came to town. Meredith even went further to dramatize the situation, she explained ’I saw a lion looking at me like I was lunch’ when Christina questioned the story, Mer replied ‘I was staring at Simba’…haha! Classic!

And now to continue the ‘Owentina’ (yes, I just made that up…haha! Owen and Christina…Get it?) drama that has been going on for a while. In the last episode Owen confessed that he cheated on Christina, and in this episode, he expected everything to be ok. Errr…are you kidding me? He expected her to forgive him so quickly. Ummm…dude! Not so fast. Haha! The tables have turned. Last episode she was the one begging and look who’s begging now. jk! This couple needs to settle their issues quickly. Stay together or quit…Whichever it is! Dear writers, please do not drag it on for the rest of the season…it’s getting old and we need more face time with the other characters and less time for showing the really disgusting surgeries, we can use our imaginations for that. Thanks!

Bailey read my mind when she said ‘who has a lion for a pet?’ I mean c’mon who keeps a Lion in her house?! There are Cats, Dogs, Fish, and you know all kinds of Animals, but a Lion (the freaking king of the jungle). Can I say the victims of the Lion’s attack were just STUPID, like seriously you fed your arm to a lion, dude you are not Chuck Norris. Haha!  I like how Bailey reacted ‘we are going to save that crazy lady’s life just so I can tell her she’s crazy’ LOL! Speaking of more crazy stuff, Morgan the intern was getting obsessed with Alex Karev and he finally caught on *whew*. To Stop this from going further, he asked to be let off the case, but she did not get the memo.  Lol! Karev had to activated his douche mode to set things straight. Haha! The women warned him earlier, but he did not listen. Moral Lesson for Alex: For girl issues, listen to the ‘Grey’s’ ladies, they know better and they will prevent you from getting involved with a crazie. Lol! Dear writers, please make Alex Karev happy for once! How about setting him up with Kepner? Thanks!

Does this mean McSteamy (Self-proclaimed Golden Boy) and Lexie are getting back together or not?

Random: Teddy looked prettier than ever in this episode :)

She finally came to terms with being a widow :(

**********

I really enjoyed this episode and there was a lot of intense moments at the ending especially when Meredith said “If you cheat on me, I’ll kill you” Yeah girl, tell him! and when Christina poured her food on Owen’s face o_o he did not see that one coming, but it’s better than the silent treatment… it looks like they are getting somewhere.

The next episode promises to be very intense according to the Preview…see for your self!

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 8 Ep.17: One Step Too Far

“We are trained to be vigilant, to chase down the problem, to ask all the right questions, to find the root cause, until we know exactly what it is and we can confront it. It takes an extreme amount of caution or we can overstep ourselves. we can create problems where none exist. Our intentions are always pure…we always want to do what’s right, but we also have the drive to push boundaries, so we are in danger of taking this too far, we are told to do no harm, while we are trained to cut you open with a knife, so we do things when we should have left well enough alone, because it’s hard to admit when there’s no problem to treat, to let it alone, before we make it so much worse, before we cause some terrible damage”Meredith Grey: Episode Narrative

The episode opens with Christina and Owen’s drama; She was really freaking out that he didn’t come home, so she stormed the hospital only to find him sleeping in one of the On- Call rooms…alone! Unfortunately there was no Emily, only a tired Owen. Realizing the situation, She looked for an excuse on why she had come, and she said “I brought you some coffee” but that was a terrible excuse, because he asked for the Coffee and she replied “I forgot it”…Well someone is going crazy.

She confronted Emily about having an affair with Owen, but it turned out that wasn’t the case! When Owen got home, she asked that they work out their issues. Christina asked if he was still in love with her and he replies “I love you so much, it hurts” O_O that’s deep!!! She told him she thought he was having an affair with Emily, and he was shocked to hear this, but he went on and said “I am not cheating on you with Emily, but I did cheat on you” errr…What the heck?!!! Her instincts were right about him cheating, but she was wrong about the girl. This Couple’s got major issues! #GetItTogether

On to the other twisted sister, Derek suggested that Meredith should work with him again in neurology, but we all know what happened the last time they worked together. She was very hesitant about it, but she decided to do it for a day. The Trio (Derek, Mer, Lexi) initially started the surgery, but Derek had to step out to give a consultation to Callie. He was away for longer than expected and so the ladies continued the surgery without him which ended up causing a major damage to the patient. :(  I was really rooting for them #GirlPower, but …oh well! Looks like Meredith won’t be returning to Neuro.

On to the lighter things…Avery’s Mom returned to perform a surgery with Dr Webber! Her game plan for the day besides the formal benefit and the surgery was to flirt with Webber, and spy on Avery with a very hot female doctor that she had brought along with her.  Avery had planned with McSteamy on how to deal with his mum when she arrived, but McSteamy changed his mind when he saw Mara (the female doctor). I am sure he thought *Finally, Avery is gonna get some, thanks to his mum* He was very happy to relieve Avery of his duties for the day! Well done Dr. Sloan, So much for taking one for the team…lol! Avery found out his mum’s real agenda for bringing the lady and at the end of the day, he hits it off with Mara! Looks like momma knows him best. lol!

Some of the ladies of Grey’s Anatomy (the ones that have known Alex for a very long time) suspect Alex and Morgan might be a thing, but he strongly denied  it…It looks like Morgan is really into it and the ladies might be right. O_O I hope she’s not another Izzy or Rebecca. Why does Alex always get the crazies?! Dear writers, Please give him a stable relationship this time…thanks!

This episode should be titled “flirting”…lol! Alex and Morgan, Emily and Owen, Catherine and Richard, Avery and Mara…haha! lol!

It was a good episode, they stepped it up. It was better than the past few episodes. What do you think? Do you think they can keep it up till the finale?

The next episode airs on April 5th…ugh! They like making us wait :(

“Grey’s Anatomy” airs Thurs. at 9/8c on ABC.

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 8 Ep. 16 Recap: ‘If Only You Were Lonely’

IF ONLY YOU WERE LONELY…

This Episode was centered around Morgan, the pregnant intern from the previous episode. Her Baby was in a critical condition, weighing only one pound with some complications. The Baby’s father was also a Doctor in another hospital, he was the extroverted type and this made things harder for the Doctors to take some measures to save the baby. I can see the father’s point, I think the measures were extreme and aggressive. It was very hard to watch, it was like torturing the baby, but it was necessary to save the child’s life. Morgan gave the baby-daddy a chance to back out, because he wasn’t supportive of the situation. I also felt sad for Dr. Webber, having to deal with his wife’s condition. She finally realized her condition in this episode (about time).

Christina also took it upon herself to stalk a pretty nurse who might become her replacement for Owen, her insecurity was really kicking in. She desperately went to Owen, but he didn’t bulge. Sucks for Christina and she just might lose it! Speaking of grudges, Teddy won’t cut Owen a slack, because of Henry’s death. He’s well aware of that, but in this episode she made it very clear to everyone! This made his standing as chief a little shaky ( he doesn’t mind being pushed around by Teddy, even in the presence of his subordinates) …Poor Owen, wait till she finds out that he assisted her in getting $4million grant. o_0

On a lighter note…Mark noticed that Avery had been really cranky and he suggested female companionship to fix this. He urged Kepner to “take one for the team” since she was Avery’s “Study Buddy”. So Silly and Petty of him. LOL. What a mentor! Jackson wasn’t interested in anyone (except Lexie) and Mark Quickly figured it out…Be Prepared for drama and “awkwardness”

This episode wasn’t my favorite, it was just here and there :(

What do you think? Did you like this episode? Has this Season measured up to the previous seasons?

I hope the next Episode is better. Here’s the preview….Looks like it’s going to be a dramatic episode! Enjoy…

“Grey’s Anatomy” airs Thurs. at 9/8c on ABC.

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 8 Ep. 15 Recap: ‘Have You Seen Me Lately?’

‘Have You Seen Me Lately?’

I was hesitant to watch this episode, because it was going to be crossover episode with Private Practice. I thought it was going to lean more to the Private Practice side (as the preview led me to believe), but when I watched the episode, there was only one cast from Private Practice :)

The episode started with Christina and Owen’s counselling session which I thought was unnecessary, because their issues were very obvious even to them, but they had been covering it up (unconsciously) until it finally blew up in their faces. Owen knew the type of person Christina was, she would always pick being a surgeon over everything else, not even a baby and she made that very clear. He kept hoping that maybe one day he would change her mind, but that wasn’t the case. She was pregnant with his baby and she insisted on getting rid of it. After much hesitation and arguments, he agreed with her decision. Ok! At this point you would think he already accepted the situation (no baby for him, at least not from Christina), but every little quarrel they’ve had since then had always been linked to the baby issue. They never sat down to discuss even after the incident, they just pretended it never happened. They are not on the same page, they are not even reading the same book.

Derek’s Sister, Amelia was the guest from Private Practice, she came to practice a procedure for a very dangerous surgery. She was a recovering addict, which makes the situation complicated, She was still seen as fragile by Derek. As we all know how Lexie loves to pry sometimes, She was very useful in convincing Derek to come on board with Amelia.

But I have to say this…What is with the gross surgeries or cases that they’ve had lately?! Ummm…remember it is should be more about the doctors lives than the surgeries. C’mon! A man’s hand in a meat grinder?! I know the writer was trying to be creative, but let’s not make it a horror show. Thanks!

Oh…how can I forget how Bailey was Kicked out of the Operating Room by Avery?!….Yes! Avery, a fifth year kicking out an Attending and of all people…Miranda Bailey! Bailey really cares for her patients and she doesn’t want to see them worse, but she really wasn’t helping the situation by freaking out while they performed the surgery.

The Highlight of the episode: The fifth years were preparing for the oral boards (an exam or evaluation…you know…medical stuff). So everyone had a study buddy; Avery and Kepner, Meredith and Christina, or so she (Mer) thought, but Christina had other pressing issues at hand. Alex decided to use an intern, Morgan, She quizzes him as he works on his patients, but unknowing to Alex (Only Alex in the entire hospital) she was 24 weeks pregnant. She got a heart attack while quizzing him and she had to go through surgery and her baby was affected. He felt really guilty because he wasn’t aware of her condition, he didn’t even know her name. LOL! That is so Alex of him!!! At the end of the day he wasn’t a jerk, he stayed by bedside until she woke up and he knew more about now than he did at the beginning of the episode.

Overall…it’s wasn’t a bad episode, but I believe they can do better. They need to end the series with a bang…they owe the viewers  that much! #justsaying

“Grey’s Anatomy” airs Thurs. at 9/8c on ABC.

“Grey’s Anatomy:” Season 8 Ep.14 Recap “All You Need Is Love”

It’s Valentine’s day at Seattle Grey’s …Everyone’s loving up in and out of the hospital and the accidents multiply, which means more surgeries and late / cancelled dates!  The ER was filled with romantics, including a 10-year-old girl who had an allergic reaction to chocolates from her valentine (they were so cute btw) and a man who was hit by a car while chasing down his frustrated girlfriend who wants him to put a ring on it (if only she had opened those cheap necklaces, she would have found the real treasure a long time ago). Poor dude was only trying to be romantic, but she didn’t get the memo so he ended up dead (sad)! *lesson for the ladies* lol…moving on!

Highlight : Apparently Derek and Mer haven’t been getting any since Zola arrived…sucks for them! lol. jk…but they are hoping for some on Val’s Day. O_O

Cristina hasn’t been getting any either…since the big fight, but he saved her from the wreck so that’s a sign that things are gonna be fine soon! can’t be too sure,  because I really can’t tell what the writers/ producers are thinking these days.

And Alex was so sweet to the kids! Awwwwwwwwwwww! Please, Get him a girl already (a stable one) #justsaying

Avery has been slacking…lol! Dude #GetItTogether!  btw I like his relationship with McSteamy (big brother)…but it’s gonna get awkward soon and we know why! *hint* girl problems

Omg! Does that mean that Lexie and McSteamy are getting back together?! *doing a lil dance* I predict more Zola- Sophia play dates in the future…ermm…if you know what I mean!

*rant*

As for next week’s episode…it’s a crossover event between Grey’s and Private Practice…ugh, tired of those crossovers (it’s getting old)! besides, it looks like it’s dominated by the Private Practice characters…erm not all Grey’s fans watch Private Practice! #justsaying

Here’s the preview for the next episode!

Grey’s Anatomy, Season 8 Episode 13 ( If/Then)

“Your life is a gift, accept it! no matter how screwed up or painful it seems to be; some things are gonna work out as if they were destined to happen” — Meredith GreyImage

This episode was centered around Meredith as she analyzes her life and wondered if things could have been different, especially if her mom didn’t have Alzheimer’s and others what if’s include:

What if she wasn’t friends with Christina? O_O no twisted sisters!?

What if Richard Webber and her mom were together and he was her dad? I can manage that, but “Meredith Webber” doesn’t sound as good as “Meredith Grey”

What if  Meredith was in love with nerdy Alex? *cringes*…that was so wrong!!! #justsaying

By the way,  Alex’s look was hilarious, but he is still screwing around

What if Bailey wasn’t the Bailey we are used to? Didn’t see that one coming, she was thrown to the back seat on this one!

What if Kepner wasn’t a saint after all? Haha…but she’s still awkward as always.

What if Owen and Torrez were married with 3 kids? haha…that was so weird , but Mer got kids part right since they both wanted kids!

What if Lexie was a junkie, but still got the brains? I almost didn’t recognize her with the tattoos and piercings, good break from the normal Lexie.

************

Enough with the recap, now excuse me while I rant!

I am a huge fan of the show, but this season hasn’t really measured up to the earlier ones and it’s the last season :(

The writer keeps leaving us hanging, this episode wasn’t really necessary (just like the musical episode). It would have been awesome if she continued from where the last week’s episode ended: Owen and Cristina’s fight, that was a huge one and it would have been a very dramatic episode. Also Mark and Lexie’s story was left hanging (I miss them) don’t you?…people were expecting them to get back together, but the writer keeps deviating from the couple.

At some point, it looked like she was going to build on April Kepner’s Character…you know the encounter with Alex Karev (the scene from season 7 episode 8, when he wanted to get with her)…but it was like it never even happened. ugh…

On a positive note, the next episode promises to be a very dramatic one… according to the preview, see for yourself!
