CBS Finale Dates Announced

CBS has scheduled all of its season finale dates, airing April 28 through May 22.

Reality series “Survivor,” “The Amazing Race,” and crime procedural series “Criminal Minds” and “Elementary” will air two-hour season finales.

ABC Family Summer Schedule Announced: ‘Pretty Little Liars,’ ‘Switched at Birth’ And Four News Series Premiere Date Revealed

ABC Family has revealed it summer schedule, which features four new series ”Dancing Fools,” family drama “The Fosters,” mystery drama “Twisted” and docu-soap “The Vineyard.”

Returning series ”Melissa & Joey,” “Baby Daddy,” “Switched at Birth”and “Pretty Little Liars” return with all new episodes.

“Dancing Fools,” the half-hour comedy clip show features the funniest, most outrageous and memorable dances caught on camera. The dancers from the top two clips of the week compete on stage for a chance to win $10,000. The series is hosted by Melissa Peterman, who also stars in ABC Family’s “Baby Daddy” and in the upcoming ABC reality series “Bet on Your Baby.”

“The Fosters,” centers on two moms (Teri Polo and Sherri Saum) raising a multi-ethnic family mix of foster and biological kids. The series also stars Jake T. Austin, Hayden Byerly, David Lambert, Maia Mitchell, Danny Nucci and Cierra Ramirez.

“Twisted,” is a one-hour mystery full of twists and turns that is centered on a charismatic 16-year-old with a troubled past (Avan Jogia) who has recently reconnected with his two female best friends from childhood (Maddie Hasson and Kylie Bunbury). He becomes the prime suspect when a fellow student is found dead in her home. The series also stars Kimberly Quinn, Sam Robards, Ashton Moio and Denise Richards.

“The Vineyard,” is a dramatic coming-of-age docu-soap that follows a handful of 20-somethings on Martha’s Vineyard for the summer. Tight quarters, new friends and new rivals, all living, working and playing together, make this picturesque playground ripe for mischief and romance.

‘Golden Boy’ Stays On Tuesdays, CBS Moves ‘Vegas’ To Fridays

CBS Tuesdays are staying Golden.

New series “Golden Boy,” which debuted on Feb. 26 will continue to air on Tuesdays, CBS announced Thursday.

However, this week’s upcoming new episode of “Golden Boy” is schedule to air on March 8 at 9/8c p.m., while new drama series “Vegas” will move to Fridays beginning April 5 at 9/8c p.m.

“Golden Boy,” which stars Theo James and Chi McBride, has averaged about 10 million viewers with 1.7 rating in adults 18-49.

Joy Behar Leaving The View

Joy Behar is leaving the ladies of “The View.”

Behar told Deadline, she is departing the talk show after sixteen seasons to pursue other ventures.

“It seemed like the right time. You reach a point when you say to yourself, ‘Do I want to keep doing this?’ There are other things on my plate I want to do — I’ve been writing a play, I’ve been neglecting my stand-up.”

Behar, the host of HLN, ABC’s contract expires in August.

“Joy Behar has been instrumental in the success of “The View” from the very beginning,” according to an ABC statement. “We wish her all the best in this next chapter, and are thrilled that we have her for the remainder of the season.”

Fox Renews ‘The Following,’ ‘Mindy Project’ And Two Comedies Series

Fox announced Monday, new series “The Following” and “The Mindy Project” along with returning comedies “Raising Hope” and “New Girl” have been renewed for the network’s 2013-2014 lineup.

On “The Following” second season pick up, Chairman of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company, Kevin Reilly said, “From the very beginning, we felt Kevin Williamson and Marcos Siega had created a high-quality, edge-of-your-seat drama that could break from the pack, and it is exciting to see the audience responding. Kevin Bacon and James Purefoy have given us two of the most compelling characters on television and the entire cast is incredible. I’m delighted to have this thrill ride continue on FOX for another season.”

Comedies “Mindy Project” received a second season order, “New Girl” received a third season pick up and “Raising Hope” was renewed for a fourth season. These renewals follow drama series “Bones” ninth season pick up.

‘Game of Thrones’ Season 3: Characters’ Posters Revealed

“Game of Thrones” return this March with a new foreboding season.

ABC Pulls ‘Zero Hour’ From Schedule

ABC Cancels Zero Hour

ABC’s freshman series “Zero Hour” has been canceled.

According to Deadline.com, the series starring  ”ER” alumni Anthony Edwards, has been canceled after airing three episodes. The drama series debuted to 6.3 million viewers and a 1.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic.

Encores of “Shark Tank” will air for the next two weeks at 8/7c p.m., until “Wife Swap” returns on March 21 for a seven-week run and reality series “Wipeout” takes over on May 9.

Carol Burnett and Tim Conway Join ‘Hot In Cleveland’ And More Casting News

The “Carol Burnett Show” alumnus Carol Burnett and Tim Conway are heading to ’Cleveland.’

Burnett has been cast to play Victoria’s (Wendie Malick) mother Penny, a local TV legend and puppeteer on a children’s program. Meanwhile, Conway will reprise his role as Nick, Elka’s (Betty White) ex-boyfriend, who has his eyes on Penny.

The TV legends will guest star on “Hot in Cleveland” in a forthcoming episode, which is set to air in August.
