Fox picks up “Glee” for two seasons – season 5 and 6.

“”Glee” debuted as the first and only successful musical comedy series on television, and more than four years later, it continues to defy genres, break new ground and have a significant impact on popular culture,” Fox entertainment chairman Kevin Reilly said in a statement. “Week in and week out, Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Ian Brennan, Dante DiLoreto and the entire Glee team deliver a series that not only delights and surprises fans, but also inspires them to talk about, share, debate and engage with the show — and I’m absolutely thrilled to have them on board for another two seasons.”

TV Land Picks Up ‘Hot In Cleveland’ For A Fifth Season

Hot In Cleveland Renewed for Season 5

The ladies of “Hot In Cleveland” will be back for a fifth season!

The comedy series which stars Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and Betty White has been renewed for a fifth season of 24 episodes.

“This is an incredible milestone for the show and for TV Land,” said TV Land president Larry W. Jones. “To have our first scripted sitcom make it to the syndication level is a huge accomplishment. We have a brilliant creative team both in front of and behind the camera. We are so proud to be on this exciting ride with them.”

New episodes of the second half of the fourth season return June 19. The fifth season is expected to start shooting in the fall.

Fox Renews ‘The Following,’ ‘Mindy Project’ And Two Comedies Series

The Following, new girl, mindy project, and raising hope renewed

Fox announced Monday, new series “The Following” and “The Mindy Project” along with returning comedies “Raising Hope” and “New Girl” have been renewed for the network’s 2013-2014 lineup.

On “The Following” second season pick up, Chairman of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company, Kevin Reilly said, “From the very beginning, we felt Kevin Williamson and Marcos Siega had created a high-quality, edge-of-your-seat drama that could break from the pack, and it is exciting to see the audience responding. Kevin Bacon and James Purefoy have given us two of the most compelling characters on television and the entire cast is incredible. I’m delighted to have this thrill ride continue on FOX for another season.”

Comedies “Mindy Project” received a second season order, “New Girl” received a third season pick up and “Raising Hope” was renewed for a fourth season. These renewals follow drama series “Bones” ninth season pick up.
