“Smash” casts another Theater Vet.

Krysta Rodriguez,  has joined “Smash” as Karen’s (Katharine McPhee) roommate. The actress is joining the NBC drama as Ana, Karen’s fun and spunky new roommate who is looking for her big break on Broadway. She has been cast as a series regular.

Tom’s boyfriend, Sam has been bumped to a regular on “Smash.” Leslie Odom Jr. recurred as Sam, a dancer/Ivy’s friend during the first season. As the season progressed, Sam became a love interest for Tom (Christian Borle).

So far Jennifer Hudson, Jermey Jordan, Krysta Rodriguez and Andy Mientus have been cast for the second season of “Smash.” While Jamie Cepero (Ellis), Raza Jaffrey (Dev), Brian D’Arcy James (Frank) and Will Chase (Michael) have been dropped.

Meanwhile, “Up All Night’”s Regan is getting a younger brother. The brother, Scott will be played by Luka Jones (Best Friends Forever). According to EW, Scott, a divorced, laid back construction worker, comes to town with his unruly 5-year old son. Jones joins the cast as a series regular.

“Up All Night” second season premieres Thursday, Sept. 20.

“Long Island Medium” was picked up for a third season by TLC

“Cougar Town” is moving to TBS! Courtney Cox’s series was picked for a season by the cable network. The fourth season will air early 2013 and consist of 15 episodes.

“Happy Endings” was renewed by ABC for a third season.

“Last Man Standing” was also renewed by ABC.

“Law And Order: SVU” was picked up for a fourteenth season.

HBO renewed its freshman comedies “Veep” and “Girls” for a second season for ten episode orders.

“Two and a Half Men” was renewed for a tenth season.

All Shonda Rhimes series “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Private Practice,” and “Scandal” were renewed.

Also renewed by ABC are “Castle,” “Once Upon a Time,” “Body of Proof,” “Apartment 23″ “DWTS,” “The Bachelor,” “Shark Tank”and “Revenge.”

“Nikita,” & “Hart Of Dixie” renewed by CW. “Gossip Girl” was also picked up a shorter and last season.

“30 Rock” renewed for a final and short season.

And “Touch,” was renewed For Season 2.

“CSI:Miami” has been cancelled after ten seasons. “Rob” is also cancelled by CBS.

“I Hate My Teenage Daughter,” ”Alcatraz,” “The Finder,” and “Breaking In” were  cancelled by FOX earlier this week.

“GCB,” Pam Am,” Missing,” “The River” all cancelled by ABC.

“Ringer,” and “Secret Circle” are not returning to CW.

“Harry’s Law,” “Awake,” “Best Friends Forever,” “Are You There, Chelsea?” “”Bent,” were cancelled by NBC.

Rejoice fans, “Community” is back! + NBC’s mid-season premieres announced!

Hola guys! So, many big news have been announced early this week, that I could not wait to share them with you. First off, “Community’” fans do your happy dance because “Community’” is back on NBC’s schedule! The hit series returns on Thurs., Mar. 15 to its old time-slot 8:00 pm EST.

With the return of  ”Community,” “Parks and Recreation” will take a five-week hiatus, but fear not for “Parks and Recreation” returns Thurs., April 19 at 9;30 p.m. EST. Also taking  a five-week break is “Law & Order: SVU” the drama continues on April 11 at 10 p.m. EST with brand new episodes.

Meanwhile, NBC announced air-dates for its remaining comedy shows: “Bent,” “Best Friends Forever,” and “Betty White’s Off Their Rockers.” ”Betty White’s Off Their Rockers” and “Best Friends Forever” will premiere 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. respectively, starting Wed., April 4, while “Whitney” and “Are You There, Chelsea?” will wrap up  their first season on March 28.

Back to back episodes of  ”Bent” will premiere on Wed., March 21 at 9 & 9:30 p.m.  While “Rock Center with Brian Williams” moves to 10 p.m starting March 7.
