Fox picks up “Glee” for two seasons – season 5 and 6.

“”Glee” debuted as the first and only successful musical comedy series on television, and more than four years later, it continues to defy genres, break new ground and have a significant impact on popular culture,” Fox entertainment chairman Kevin Reilly said in a statement. “Week in and week out, Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Ian Brennan, Dante DiLoreto and the entire Glee team deliver a series that not only delights and surprises fans, but also inspires them to talk about, share, debate and engage with the show — and I’m absolutely thrilled to have them on board for another two seasons.”

NBC is moving “Grimm” to Tuesdays, beginning April 30.

Revolution Casting News: Annie Wersching

Annie Werching is joining the “Revolution.”

According to TVLine, Annie Wersching, who played FBI agent Renee Walker on “24,” has been booked to  guest-star on NBC’s “Revolution.”  Wersching will play Emma, “who was Miles Matheson’s first love, and the first object of Sebastian Monroe’s obsession.”

Wersching is set to appear in the freshman drama’s Episode 15.

“Revolution” continues on March 25.

Brooke Shields will recur on “Army Wives.” The recurring guest star will play Col. Katherine “Kat” Young, a crack C-17 pilot who finds herself at odds with Army General Michael Holden, played by Brian McNamara.

Meanwhile, Nicholas Strong, who plays JT on “Nashville,” will portray Phil, a popular radio DJ and indie rock fanatic who is described as “a charismatic figure with a dark secret.” [TVLine]

“Awkward” adds “The Breakfast Club” and “Sixteen Candles” alum.

Anthony Michael Hall will appear on “Awkward’s” upcoming third season for a multi-episode arc. Hall will play Mr. Hart, “a sadistic creative writing teacher that pushes the students out of their comfort zones,” according to Entertainment Weekly.

Additionally, “Glee” newbie Nolan Funk will portray Collin James, a confident new prep school transfer to Palos Hills. Funk will appear in a multi-episode arc.

“Everwood” alum Treat Williams is joining “Chicago Fire.”

According to TV Guide, Williams will play Benny Severide, the father of Lt. Severide (Taylor Kinney). Benny is described as a “tough guy who also used to work as a fireman.” Williams has been cast to appear in multiple episodes.

“Chicago Fire” airs Wednesdays on NBC.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Leland Orser, who starred in the “Taken” franchise has been tapped to play John Samborn on the drama series. Samborn is described as a “tense scientist who loves to build weapons.”

Meanwhile, “Sons of Anarchy” actor Patrick St. Esprit, will play a tough rebel leader, named Wayne Ramsey, EW reports.

Both actors are join the series in possible recurring roles.

“Revolution” airs Mondays, at 10 p.m. on NBC.

It appears Taylor Momsen and Connor Paolo, who currently stars on “Revenge” are returning to “Gossip Girl” for the series finale.

Kelly Rutherford tweeted a photo of Momsen and Paolo on set.

Earlier last week, EW reported Katie Cassidy who played Juliet Sharp “Gossip Girl” will reprise her role for the series finale.

John Larroquette and Ken Leung have join “Infamous” in recurring roles.

According to Deadline, Five-time Emmy winner John Larroquette has been booked to recur in NBC’s drama “Infamous.”  The “Boston Legal” alum will appear in seven episodes of the series, Deadline reports.

Larroquette has been cast to play Sen. Dwight Haverstock, a powerful politician who has a dark history with the Bowers family. Meanwhile, “Lost” alum Ken Leung, who appeared in the season 2 opener of “Person of Interest” will play a detective working the murder case, TVLine reports.

The midseason series “Infamous” follows a female detective (Meagan Good) who returns home to the wealthy Bowers family, where she grew up as the maid’s daughter to solve the murder of her former best friend and notorious heiress, Vivian.
