CBS Finale Dates Announced

CBS has scheduled all of its season finale dates, airing April 28 through May 22.

Reality series “Survivor,” “The Amazing Race,” and crime procedural series “Criminal Minds” and “Elementary” will air two-hour season finales.

‘Teen Wolf’ Alum Colton Hayes Joins ‘Arrow’ And More Casting News

Colton Haynes is joining “Arrow.” The “Teen Wolf” actor has landed a recurring role on the CW drama series.

The actor joins freshman drama series as Roy Harper, a “handsome, street-savvy” teen who falls for Thea, Oliver’s sister, according to TV Guide.

‘Arrow’ Casts ‘Spartacus’ Actor

In DC Comics, Roy becomes Green Arrow’s sidekick, Speedy. The character has also gone by the names of Red Arrow and Arsenal.

Hayes, who recently departed ‘Teen Wolf’ in early October, will make his first appearance in 2013.

“X-Files” alum Gillian Anderson will appear on NBC’s “Hannibal.”Anderson will play the personal therapist of Dr. Hannibal Lecter’s (Mads Mikkelsen) in a three-episode arc. [EW]

“Pretty Little Liars” actress Ashley Benson has booked a guest role as “Barney’s ????” on an upcoming episode of “How I Met Your Mother.” [Twitter]

Billy Campbell, who played Seattle city councilman-turned-paralyzed Mayor Darren Richmond, on AMC’s “The Killing” will not be returning for the AMC series’ third season. [Variety]

“Bunheads” has tapped Hunter Foster, Sutton Foster’s real-life brother, as Michelle’s sibling. Foster will appear in a multi-episode arc beginning Jan. 28. [ET Online]

John Boyd & Dileep Rao Join ‘Touch’ And More Casting News

Fox sophomore drama “Touch,” has added two recurring actors.

“24″ alum John Boyd and Inception‘s Dileep Rao have joined the series.

According to THR, Boyd is set to play Kase, a brilliant math and algorithm researcher. Kase is also Calvin’s confidant (Lukas Haas) and college friend. Meanwhile, Rao, will guest star as Vikash Nayar, a wealthy shareholder at Aster Corp.

The recurring actors join Said Taghmaoui, Adam Campbell, Ray Santiago, Lukas Haas, Saxon Sharbino and Greg Ellis for the second season of “Touch.”

“Touch” returns Fri., Oct. 26 at 8/7c p.m. on Fox.

Abby Elliott first post “SNL” gig is CBS comedy “How I Met Your Mother.” Elliott has been booked as crazy Janeane in a multi-episode arc. [EW]

“Lost” alum Tania Raymonde will recur next season on “Switched at Birth.” Raymonde will play Zarra, a street artist who befriends Bay. “Switched at Birth” returns Monday, Sept. 3 at 8/7c on ABC Family. [TV Guide]

Tom Bower (Die Hard 2, The Waltons) has been cast to play Dwight’s great uncle Heinrich in “The Office”‘s spin-off, “The Farm.” Heinrich is described as “charming, greedy and manipulative.” [Deadline]

Miley Cyrus is set to appear in a two-episode arc on “Two and a Half Men.” Miley will play Missy, a love interest for Jake.

Vera Farmiga (The Departed) has been tapped to play Norman Bates’s abusive and complicated mother on A&E new series “Bates Motel.” [EW]

Ali Wentworth will play Tom’s love interest on “Cougar Town.” [TVLine]

Bailey Buntain (Bunheads) will be guest-star on an upcoming episode of  ”The Middle.” Buntain has been cast to play Jenna, a freshman Sue chooses to mentor. [EW]

‘Step Up Revolution’ Actor Heads to ‘The Mindy Project’ & More Casting News

Fox’s most anticipated comedy “The Mindy Project” has cast Tommy Dewey and some NBA players.

According to TVLineStep Up Revolution actor Tommy Dewey will star as Mindy’s boyfriend, Josh Daniels. Daniels is described as a successful lawyer, who pursues things/people he likes.

Additionally EW reports, NBA Basketball players Amar’e Stoudemire, Baron Davis, and Danny Granger will guest-star as themselves on the upcoming comedy series.

“The Mindy Project” is set to premiere Sept. 25 at 9:30/8:30c on Fox.

Thomas Lennon has been tapped for the upcoming season of “How I Met Your Mother.”

EW reports, “Reno 911″ alum Thomas Lennon will play Klaus, Victoria’s fiance on the forthcoming season of “How I Met Your Mother.” Victoria left Klaus at the altar before running away with Ted in the last season finale.

‘True Blood’ Star Heads to ‘How I Met Your Mother’

Lennon joins previously announced Manganiello, Michael Trucco and Ashley Williams.

The comedy series returns Mon., Sept. 24.

“True Blood”‘s wolf will return to “How I Met Your Mother.”

TVLine reports, Joe Manganiello will reprise his role as Brad, Marshall’s law school companion on the hit comedy series.

Manganiello joins previously announced Michael Trucco and Ashley Williams for a multi-episode arc on the upcoming season of “How I Met Your Mother.”

The comedy series continues Mon., Sept. 24.

British actor Julian Morris will guest star on “Once Upon A Time.’

Julian Morris (Pretty Little Liars) will play Prince Phillip on “Once.” According to EW, the royal Prince is described as a selfless, skilled, young warrior who has traveled many tough journeys.

Morris joins previously announced Jamie Chung who will recur as Mulan, and Sara Bolger as Sleeping Beauty. Morris TV credit include “24,” and “Pretty Little Liars.”

“Once Upon A Time is set to premiere Sun., Sept. 30 at 8/7c p.m. on ABC.

Casting Scoop: Kate Hudson, Sarah Jessica Parker to Guest-Star on ‘Glee’ and More

Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Hudson will guest-star on the next season of “Glee.”

Parker is going to run Vogue.com, according to an interview with Ian Brennan, the co-creator and executive producer of “Glee,” and AccessHollywood.com.

Parker’s character will interact with Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Rachel (Lea Michele). Brennan described Parker’s character as a frazzled, eccentric and hilarious journalist.

Meanwhile, Kate Hudson will guest-star in six-episodes as Cassandra July, Rachel’s dance instructor at NYADA.

Hudson and Parker are not the only actors who will appear on “Glee” next season. Dean Geyer will play Rachel’s classmate, while newcomer Jacob Artist joins “Glee” as Puck’s younger half-brother. “Glee”‘s main cast are expected to return for the new season, but the amount of episodes per actor is yet to be determined. However, Chord Overstreet will be back on “Glee” as a series regular.

The fourth season of “Glee” is set to premiere Thurs., Sept. 13 at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.

CBS 2012-2013 Lineup Revealed: ’2 Broke Girls,’ Heads To A New Time, & More.

TV most watched network, CBS unveiled it fall/spring lineup.

The changes? ”2 Broke Girls,” “Two And A Half Men,” “CSI: NY,” “The Mentalist” all move to a new time. “2 Broke Girls” season two will premiere an hour later on Mondays. The tenth season of “Two And A Half Men” will air on Thursdays. “CSI: NY” and “The Mentalist” were also moved to a new time slot.

CBS picks up four new shows, three dramas “Vegas,” “Elementary,” “Made In Jersey” and a new comedy show “Partners.” These shows will premiere this fall while “Golden Boy,” “Friend Me,” and “The Job” will debut during midseason.

Weekly TV News: ‘Luck,’ CBS, & Showtime.

Hi guys!! A lot occurred in our TV world this week. I’ve got some sad news to share and some great news. First the sad news:

HBO cancels “Luck” after the third Horse died, last Wednesday during production. Although, the series was renewed for a second season a few days after the series premiered in January.

Rosie O’Donnell’s “The Rosie Show,” 7 p.m. talk show on OWN has been canceled after just five months on air.

Discovery’s “Man vs. Wild” has also been cancelled.

Are you sad to see these shows cancelled?

It is never too early to start planning your fall line-up. Showtime announced Monday, that “Homeland” and “Dexter” will return Sun, Sept 30. The seventh season of “Dexter” premieres at 9/8c, while “Homeland” second season premieres an hour later at 10/9c. Also announced this week, Season 8 of “Weeds” and Season 2 of “Episodes” kick off Sunday, July 1, at 10 p.m. EST.

VH1 to air a two-hour Wedding special for “Basketball Wives” Evelyn Lozada and Chad Ochocinco. The engaged couple will star in a spin-off show called,”Ev and Ocho.” The show includes eight, 30-minutes episodes on VH1. “Ev and Ocho” will document the days leading up to the big finale, the Wedding. Did you see this coming?

The award-winning  Gospel singers, Mary Mary’s reality series is set to premiere March 29 at 9c on WE tv. The series “Mary Mary” will show the challenges the sisters face as they balance their roles as wives, mothers, and singers. ”Mary Mary” premieres in a special time-slot on Thursday, Mar. 29 at 10|9c. The reality show will then air in its regular time-slot Thursdays at 9|8c beginning April 5, with ten, hour-long episodes. Click here for the sneak peek.

E! picked up Dina Eastwood reality series, “Mrs. Eastwood and Company”. The reality show will follow the life and career of Dina, Clint Eastwood’s wife and his two teenage daughters, Francesca and Morgan. ”Mrs. Eastwood and Company” reality series kicks off on Sun. May 20.

Some early renewals were announced this week, NBC renewed its freshman series, “Grimm.” While CBS renewed eighteen shows on its schedule.
