CBS Finale Dates Announced

CBS has scheduled all of its season finale dates, airing April 28 through May 22.

Reality series “Survivor,” “The Amazing Race,” and crime procedural series “Criminal Minds” and “Elementary” will air two-hour season finales.

Lindsay Lohan Heads to Anger Management

Lindsay Lohan is getting some “Anger Management.”

According to Inside TV, The ‘Liz & Dick’ actress will play herself in the comedy series second season. In the episode, which is set to air in April, Lohan will develop a romantic relationship with Sheen’s character Charlie after becoming his patient.

“Homeland” vet Jamey Sheridan is heading to “NCIS.” Sheridan has been cast to portray NCIS Agent Timothy McGee’s father, Admiral John McGee. [TVLine]

Shaq is joining to “Southland.” The NBA legend will play Officer Earl Dayton, a cop who reunites with his former police academy buddy Officer John Cooper at the funeral of a notorious gangster. [Access Hollywood]

Misha Collins has been promoted to series regular for “Supernatural” Season 9. [Huffington Post ]

Adam Rodriguez Heads to ‘Goodwin Games’ And More Casting News

Adam Rodriguez is joining Fox’s new comedy in a recurring role.

According to EW,The former “CSI: Miami” star is heading to Fox’s “Goodwin Games.” Rodriguez has been tapped to play Ivan, a math professor and potential love interest of Chloe (Becki Newton).

The new series follows three siblings who stand to inherit millions from their deceased father’s if they compete in challenging games.

“The Goodwin Games” premieres early 2013.

“Jericho” alum Brad Beyer has been cast in a two-episode arc on “NCIS.” Beyer has been cast as Marine Capt. Joe Westcott, an upstanding unit leader who returns home after touring in Afghanistan. [TV Guide]

Maria Thayer Forgetting Sarah Marshall has been tapped to play Nick’s college girlfriend, Amelia in “New Girl.” Thayer is set to appear in the Halloween episode of the adorkable comedy. [TV Guide]

Christopher McDonald and Julie Hagerty have joined “Happy Endings” as Alex (Elisha Cuthbert) and Jane’s (Eliza Coupe) parents. The duo will appear in the sixth season of the upcoming season. [TVGuide]

Benjamin McKenzie is set to guest star in TBS’ “Men at Work.” The “Southland” star will play Bryan, Tyler’s girlfriend, Meg’s (Bethany Joy Lenz) ex husband. [TV Guide]

Dominic Hoffman “A Different World” has been cast to guest-star on “Grey’s Anatomy.” Although details about his role are kept under wraps, Hoffman will a doctor in Seattle Grace. [TV Guide]

Carrie Preston, “True Blood”‘s star will reprise her role as Elsbeth Tascioni for multiple episodes on the upcoming season of “The Good Wife.” [TVLine]

Sean Hayes Gets ‘Smash’ed And More Casting News

Sean Hayes will guest-star on NBC’ s musical drama “Smash.” The “Will & Grace” veteran will appear as Terrence Falls in a multi-episode arc of the upcoming season, NBC reports.

‘Smash’ Casts ‘Newsies’ Star

Falls is described as “a comedic television and film star who is making his Broadway debut in the musical Liaisons, based on the novel Les Liaisons Dangereuses.  Due to a series of comic circumstances, he becomes a major thorn in the side for Ivy Lynn (Megan Hilty) and other characters.”

Jennifer Hudson Joins ‘Smash’.

Hayes will also appear on NBC’s “Up All Night” as Ava’s former accompanist.

“Smash” returns midseason on NBC.

Jodi Lyn O’Keefe (Prison Break) will guest-star as a TV entertainment reporter on the forthcoming season of “Castle.”  [THR]

Mike Dopud (Smallville) has booked a recurring role on “Mistresses.” This Means War star will play Oliver, an  European who purchases Josslyn’s real estate firm. [EW]

Michael Nardelli will star as Trey on ABC hit “Revenge.” Trey, a recurring character, is Declan’s trouble friend. [TVLine]

Star Wars alum Billy Dee Williams has been cast as Leroy Jethro, who Leroy Jethro Gibbs was named after. Williams will play a WW II veteran and a close friend of the Gibbs family on “NCIS.” [TV Guide]

Grammy-award winning singer/songwriter, Michael Bolton will appear in the season opener of “Two and a Half Men.” [EW]

Annabella Sciorra (Sopranos) will guest-star on “The Good Wife” as a “tough, smart gangland lawyer.” [TVLine]

Fall Scoop: CBS Reveals Premiere Dates

CBS, America’s most-watched network just unveiled it fall premiere dates.

Starting things off for the network this fall is “Survivor.” The reality series return in Philippines on Wed, Sept., 19 at 8 p.m. ET.  While the remaining series will premiere during the official fall premiere week: Sept. 24 – 30.

‘Once Upon A Time’ Emilie de Ravin Promoted to Series Regular and more Casting News

Emilie de Ravin has been promoted to a series regular.

‘Once Upon A Time’ Scoop: Meghan Ory Promoted.

The actress played Belle, the Beauty and the Beast heroine on ABC hit drama “Once Upon A Time.” Ravin starred in three episodes during the drama’s freshman season.

More casting news!

Ray Romano will join Nbc’s “Parenthood.” The “Men of a Certain Age” star will join the cast for a multi-episodes arc. Romano will play a photographer who comes between Sarah (Lauren Graham) and her scruffy man-squeeze Mark (Jason Ritter). Romano’s character will be introduced during the fourth season premiere (Sept. 11).

Rupert Friend has joined Homeland‘s second season, which premieres Sept. 30 as a series regular. Friend will play a CIA analyst overseeing a “critical operation.”

Brian Dietzen has been promoted. The “NCIS” actor, who portrays Jimmy Palmer on the CBS series, has been promoted to a series regular for the 10th season.

Lastly, TVLine reports Lauren London will join BET’s “The Game” as a series regular. With the lead characters Tia Mowry and Pooch Hall leaving this season, London will play “Kiera, a former child star who is currently appearing in a Cosby Show-esque sitcom.”

CBS 2012-2013 Lineup Revealed: ’2 Broke Girls,’ Heads To A New Time, & More.

TV most watched network, CBS unveiled it fall/spring lineup.

The changes? ”2 Broke Girls,” “Two And A Half Men,” “CSI: NY,” “The Mentalist” all move to a new time. “2 Broke Girls” season two will premiere an hour later on Mondays. The tenth season of “Two And A Half Men” will air on Thursdays. “CSI: NY” and “The Mentalist” were also moved to a new time slot.

CBS picks up four new shows, three dramas “Vegas,” “Elementary,” “Made In Jersey” and a new comedy show “Partners.” These shows will premiere this fall while “Golden Boy,” “Friend Me,” and “The Job” will debut during midseason.

Weekly TV News: ‘Luck,’ CBS, & Showtime.

Hi guys!! A lot occurred in our TV world this week. I’ve got some sad news to share and some great news. First the sad news:

HBO cancels “Luck” after the third Horse died, last Wednesday during production. Although, the series was renewed for a second season a few days after the series premiered in January.

Rosie O’Donnell’s “The Rosie Show,” 7 p.m. talk show on OWN has been canceled after just five months on air.

Discovery’s “Man vs. Wild” has also been cancelled.

Are you sad to see these shows cancelled?

It is never too early to start planning your fall line-up. Showtime announced Monday, that “Homeland” and “Dexter” will return Sun, Sept 30. The seventh season of “Dexter” premieres at 9/8c, while “Homeland” second season premieres an hour later at 10/9c. Also announced this week, Season 8 of “Weeds” and Season 2 of “Episodes” kick off Sunday, July 1, at 10 p.m. EST.

VH1 to air a two-hour Wedding special for “Basketball Wives” Evelyn Lozada and Chad Ochocinco. The engaged couple will star in a spin-off show called,”Ev and Ocho.” The show includes eight, 30-minutes episodes on VH1. “Ev and Ocho” will document the days leading up to the big finale, the Wedding. Did you see this coming?

The award-winning  Gospel singers, Mary Mary’s reality series is set to premiere March 29 at 9c on WE tv. The series “Mary Mary” will show the challenges the sisters face as they balance their roles as wives, mothers, and singers. ”Mary Mary” premieres in a special time-slot on Thursday, Mar. 29 at 10|9c. The reality show will then air in its regular time-slot Thursdays at 9|8c beginning April 5, with ten, hour-long episodes. Click here for the sneak peek.

E! picked up Dina Eastwood reality series, “Mrs. Eastwood and Company”. The reality show will follow the life and career of Dina, Clint Eastwood’s wife and his two teenage daughters, Francesca and Morgan. ”Mrs. Eastwood and Company” reality series kicks off on Sun. May 20.
