“Dallas” Casts Annie Wersching in a recurring role.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Annie Wersching has been tapped to guest star as Dr. Kate Gordon. Wersching’s role is described as a smart and caring family therapist, who specializes in early childhood trauma and behavioral issues.

Wersching portrayed Jack Bauer’s lover interest FBI Agent Renee Walker, on Fox’s “24.”

Elizabeth Pena (“Rush Hour”) has been cast to play Pilar, Gloria’s mother in “Modern Family.” Also joining the comedy series is Stephanie Beatriz as Sofia, Gloria’s sister. Pena and Beatriz are set to appear in this season’s 12th episode. [TVLine]

Glen Hansard will guest star as himself in a forthcoming episode of “Parenthood.” Hansard will play himself on the drama series. [EW]

Wayne Brady and Caroline Rhea will guest-star on the second season of “Baby Daddy.” Comedian Brady will play a talk-show host named Chase Baxter in the second episode of the forthcoming season. Meanwhile, Rhea will portray Riley’s mother. [TV Guide]

Michael J. Fox & T.R. Knight to Appear on ‘Good Wife’ And More Casting News

Michael J. Fox is heading to Lockhart/Gardner again.

According to TVLine, the actor will reprise his role as Louis Canning — the head of Lockhart/Gardner’s rival law firm — on “The Good Wife.” Fox is set to appear on the series’ eleventh episode, which is set to air in January 2013.

Also heading to the law firm is “Grey’s Anatomy’s” T.R. Knight.

Knight, who played Dr. George O’Malley on ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” has been cast to guest-star as a political operative on the drama series, EW reports.

Nestor Carbonell and Mike Vogel have joined A&E’s upcoming series “Bates Motel.”

“Lost” alum Carbonell, who played a FBI agent on The CW’s short-lived “Ringer” has joined “Bates Motel” in a recurring role. Carbonell will play Sheriff Royce Romero.

Meanwhile,”Pan Am’s” handsome pilot Vogel will play Deputy Zach Shelby, an intelligent sociopath.

The duo join the growing cast of Vera Farmiga, Freddie Highmore, Max Thieriot, Nicola Peltz and Olivia Cooke.

It has been official: Sean Lowe is the new bachelor.

ABC announced earlier last week, that Sean who competed for Emily Maynard’s heart on “The Bacherotte” has been cast as “The Bachelor.”

The 28-year-old Dallas “businessman and entrepreneur” who made it to the final three in the last season of “The Bachelorette” has decided it is the right time for him to make the “ultimate commitment to the right woman and to start his own family.”

“The Bachelor” returns to ABC for its 17th season in January 2013.

‘Lost’ Alum Joins ‘Mentalist’ And More Casting News

Henry Ian Cusick, Scandal, The Mentalist

“Scandal” alum Henry Ian Cusick has joined “The Mentalist.”

According to Deadline, the “Lost” alum will join the crime drama as Tommy Volker, a rich playboy who might be tied to a reporter’s murder. Cusick has been cast to recur for a three-episode arc in the series’ upcoming fifth season.

Until recently, Cusick was a series regular on ABC’s “Scandal.”

“The Mentalist” returns Sun., at 9 p.m. on CBS.

“So You Think You Can Dance” season 9 winners: Eliana Girard and Chehon Wespi-Tschopp has been nabbed to play Katarina Wirz and Rocko respectively in an upcoming dancing episode on “Bones.”Joining them are judges Mary Murphy and Tyce Diorio, who will be playing themselves, and former contestant and occasional choreographer Dmitry Chaplin, who will play a dancing pro in the episode. [TVLine]

Colin O’Donoghue is Captain Hook!

According to TVLine, O’Donoghue will play a handsome, and confident pirate who never backs down from a fight. Captain Hook is described as a pirate with meticulous style and old-school manners of a proper gentleman, who seeks to crush and humiliate his enemies.

‘OUAT’ Adds Julian Morris

Also joining the series is Michael Raymond-James. The “True Blood” vet will play a mysterious character, however, additional information about his role are being kept under wraps according to EW.

The actress played Belle, the Beauty and the Beast heroine on ABC hit drama “Once Upon A Time.” Ravin starred in three episodes during the drama’s freshman season.

Ray Romano will join Nbc’s “Parenthood.” The “Men of a Certain Age” star will join the cast for a multi-episodes arc. Romano will play a photographer who comes between Sarah (Lauren Graham) and her scruffy man-squeeze Mark (Jason Ritter). Romano’s character will be introduced during the fourth season premiere (Sept. 11).

Rupert Friend has joined Homeland‘s second season, which premieres Sept. 30 as a series regular. Friend will play a CIA analyst overseeing a “critical operation.”

Brian Dietzen has been promoted. The “NCIS” actor, who portrays Jimmy Palmer on the CBS series, has been promoted to a series regular for the 10th season.

Lastly, TVLine reports Lauren London will join BET’s “The Game” as a series regular. With the lead characters Tia Mowry and Pooch Hall leaving this season, London will play “Kiera, a former child star who is currently appearing in a Cosby Show-esque sitcom.”
