‘CSI: NY’ Alum Joins ‘Covert Affairs’ And More Casting News

Hill Harper joins covert affairs

“CSI: NY” star Hill Harper is heading to “Covert Affairs.”

The crime-procedural actor has been cast in the drama series as a series regular, according to The  Hollywood Reporter.

Harper will play an “ambitious, intelligent and slightly cocky,” CIA station chief in Latin America, who will be looking to make the transition from the CIA’s Latin America station back to Washington.

Harper’s character will try to enlist the help of Annie and Auggie to help him accomplish that goal.

According to TVLine, Harper will not continue with “CSI: NY” if the series get renewed for a Season 10.

“Covert Affairs” returns this summer.

Diego Klattenhoff Leaving ‘Homeland’ And More Casting News

Diego Klattenhoff is leaving “Homeland.”

According to TVLine, Klattenhoff, who plays Mike on Showtime’s Golden Globes award-winning drama, will not be a series regular when the series for a third season, in September.

Klattenhoff, may however return as a recurring actor.  The site also reports Morena Baccarin, who plays Brody’s estranged wife is expected to return to the series as a regular part of the cast.

“Homeland” season 3 returns on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 9 p.m.

According to Deadline, Rose McGowan has been booked to star as young Cora on the ABC drama series.

McGowan whose credits include “Law & Order: SVU” and “Nip/Tuck” will appear in an origin episode that will delve into the evil queen’s back-story.

“Once Upon A Time” returns on Sunday, Jan 6. at 8/7c.

‘Community’ Season 4 Premiere, Midseason Series Premiere Dates Announced

Good news “Community” fans! The long-delayed fourth season of “Community” has a premiere date. NBC announced today, the comedy series will premiere Thursday, Feb. 7 at 8 p.m. ET.

The peacock network also revealed the debut dates if its midseason series.

New series: “Deception” formerly “Infamous” starring Meagan Good (“Think Like a Man”), debuts on Mon., January 7 at 10/9c; “1600 Penn” kicks off on January 10 at 9:30/8:30c; and Eva Longoria’s “Ready for Love” premieres Sunday, March 31 at 8/7c.

Meet The Cast Of ‘All-Star Celebrity Apprentice’

The Canadian-born actor has been cast in a love triangle with Norman Bates. Harmon will play Richard Slymore, in a recurring role. TVLine reports, Slymore is described as a ”cool, intelligent and artsy” student at the high school Norman Bates (Freddie Highmore) attends in after he and his mother move to town.

As previously reported, Rob Riggle will appear in the Thanksgiving episode as Schmidt’s cousin, Schmidt. “Political Animals” actress Carla Gugino will also join the forthcoming season for a three-episode arc as Emma, Schmidt’s boss.
