According to TVLine, ”Ringer” alum will star as FBI agent Nick Donovan, who is brought in to supervise Joe Carroll’s (played by James Purefoy) case and Agent Hardy.
Also recurring on the thriller series is Warren Kole, TVLine reports. Kole, who starred on USA’s “Common Law” as Wes has been cast in “The Following.”
Kole will play a loyal servant of Joe Carroll, named Roderick.
Kathleen Quinlan (“Apollo 13″) has joined “Chicago Fire” in a multi-episode arc as Lt. Matthew Casey’s (Jesse Spencer) mother. [THR]
Joe Mazzello has joined “Justified” in a recurring role. Mazzello will recur in a multi-episode arc as a preacher who has saved the lives of drug addicts. [Deadline]
Nancy Lee Grahn (“The General Hospital’) will guest star as a rich divorcee, Samantha Voss on “Castle.” [TVLine]
“Army Wives’” Sterling K. Brown has been cast on “Person Of Interest.“ Brown will play a narcotics detective Cal Beecher in a recurring role. [Deadline]
Kyle Harris has been tapped to play a college freshman, who dates Mouse, Carrie’s friend in a recurring role in “The Carrie Diaries.” [THR]
Nestor Carbonell and Mike Vogel have joined A&E’s upcoming series “Bates Motel.”
“Lost” alum Carbonell, who played a FBI agent on The CW’s short-lived “Ringer” has joined “Bates Motel” in a recurring role. Carbonell will play Sheriff Royce Romero.
Meanwhile,”Pan Am’s” handsome pilot Vogel will play Deputy Zach Shelby, an intelligent sociopath.
The duo join the growing cast of Vera Farmiga, Freddie Highmore, Max Thieriot, Nicola Peltz and Olivia Cooke.

Ellen Greene (“Pushing Daisies”) is set to recur as Mrs. Komeda, a novelist and member of Boston’s cultural elite in NBC’s “Hannibal.” [TVLine]
Stephen Collins (“7th Heaven”) has been cast as “Falling Skies” pre-alien president. Collins will play Benjamin Hathaway and will appear in the fourth episode of the upcoming third season. [TV Guide]
Colin O’Donoghue has been bumped up to a series regular on “Once Upon A Time.” O’Donoghue plays Captain Hook on the series. [EW]
Pamela Adlon (“Californicatiom”) has joined “Parenthood” in a two-episode arc. Adlon has been tapped to play Marlana, a rude woman who moves into the building next to the Braverman brothers’ music studio. [TVLine]
Eric Edelstein and Maile Flanagan have been cast on Showtime’s “Shameless.” Edelstein has been tapped to play Bobby Mallison, a seemingly polite manager of a grocery store who makes absurd demands of his female employees. While, Flanagan will play Connie, a Mid-Western co-worker at a company where Fiona works. [Deadline]
“Gossip Girl” alum John Shea, who played Blair’s father on The CW drama will portray Cary Agos’ father on “The Good Wife.” TVLine reports, Shea’s character is a little “awkward and stiff.”
Additionally, THR reports “Ringer” alum Mike Colter, will return to “The Good Wife” as drug kingpin Lemond Bishop in the forthcoming season.
John Shea and Mike Colter join “TGW” season 4 guest stars: Christina Ricci, Kristin Chenoweth, Nathan Lane, Brian Dennehy, Annabella Sciorra, Maura Tierney, Amanda Peet, and Marc Warren.
“TGW” returns Sun., Sept. 30 on CBS.

Funnyman Rob Riggle has booked a guest star role on Fox’s comedy “New Girl.” The 21 Jump Street star will play Schmidt, Schmidt’s cousin and nemesis (confused right?). Riggle will appear in the comedy’s Thanksgiving episode. [TVLine]
“The Vampire Diaries”’ has enlisted Blake Hood (The Young and the Restless) and Alyssa Diaz (The Nine Lives of Chloe King) to play Klaus new hybrids in Episodes 5 and 6, respectively, of Season 4. [TVGuide]
Mitch Pileggi has been promoted to series regular in “Dallas”‘ second season. The “X-Files” alum played Ann’s (Brenda Strong) ex-husband in the previous season. [Deadline]
“Everwood” alumna Debra Mooney has joined “Scandal” in a recurring role. Mooney will play a Supreme Court Justice in a multi-episode arc. [TVLine]

Lifetime order a reality show starring Whitney Houston’s family, “Houston Family Chronicles” according to Huffington. Bobbie Kristina, Cissy, Pat Houston, Pat’s daughter, Rayah, and Gary Houston will be featured in the series. The one-hour reality show is set to premiere sometime in 2012. Will you watch the reality series?

“Long Island Medium” was picked up for a third season by TLC
“Cougar Town” is moving to TBS! Courtney Cox’s series was picked for a season by the cable network. The fourth season will air early 2013 and consist of 15 episodes.
“Happy Endings” was renewed by ABC for a third season.
“Last Man Standing” was also renewed by ABC.
“Law And Order: SVU” was picked up for a fourteenth season.
HBO renewed its freshman comedies “Veep” and “Girls” for a second season for ten episode orders.
“Two and a Half Men” was renewed for a tenth season.
All Shonda Rhimes series “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Private Practice,” and “Scandal” were renewed.
Also renewed by ABC are “Castle,” “Once Upon a Time,” “Body of Proof,” “Apartment 23″ “DWTS,” “The Bachelor,” “Shark Tank”and “Revenge.”
“Nikita,” & “Hart Of Dixie” renewed by CW. “Gossip Girl” was also picked up a shorter and last season.
“30 Rock” renewed for a final and short season.
And “Touch,” was renewed For Season 2.
