Guillermo will return to Agrestic!

According to TVGuide, Guillermo Diaz, who currently stars on ABC’s hit drama “Scandal” will reprise his role as Guillermo Garcia Gómez in the final three episodes of “Weeds.” Diaz is set to appear beginning with the 100th episode on Sunday, Sept. 9.

As previously reported, “Weeds” will end with a two-part series finale on September 16.  Additionally Mary-Louise Parker told critics, “I think it’s ["Weeds" finale] beautiful. I cried when I read it.”

The series finale is expected to air Sept. 16.

Valerie Bertinelli will reunite with her former “One Day at a Time” co-star Pat Harrington Jr. in an upcoming episode of “Hot in Cleveland.” Harrington will play the manager of an apartment building where Bertinelli’s boyfriend lives. [TV Guide]

“The Newsroom” star David Harbour has been cast as a guest star in CBS’ new crime drama “Elementary.” Harbour is set to play a brilliant surgeon named Dr. Mason Baldwin. [TVLine]

Laura Vandervoort has booked a double-episode arc on Syfy’s “Haven.” The “Smallville” alum will play an intelligent and beautiful woman, who has been driven to the brink of madness by the loss of a loved one. [TVLine]

Shelley Long, who played Dede Pritchett, Jay’s ex-wife and the mother of Claire and Mitchell on “Modern Family” will reprise her role on the comedy series. [TV Guide]

Kelly Overton, who played Alcide’s werewolf love interest on HBO’s “True Blood,” has landed a guest star role on an episode of The CW’s “Beauty and the Beast.” Overton will play Claire, a doctoral student who meets medical examiner Evan (Max Brown) online. [TV Guide]

Sean Hayes Gets ‘Smash’ed And More Casting News

Sean Hayes will guest-star on NBC’ s musical drama “Smash.” The “Will & Grace” veteran will appear as Terrence Falls in a multi-episode arc of the upcoming season, NBC reports.

Falls is described as “a comedic television and film star who is making his Broadway debut in the musical Liaisons, based on the novel Les Liaisons Dangereuses.  Due to a series of comic circumstances, he becomes a major thorn in the side for Ivy Lynn (Megan Hilty) and other characters.”

Jennifer Hudson Joins ‘Smash’.

Hayes will also appear on NBC’s “Up All Night” as Ava’s former accompanist.

Star Wars alum Billy Dee Williams has been cast as Leroy Jethro, who Leroy Jethro Gibbs was named after. Williams will play a WW II veteran and a close friend of the Gibbs family on “NCIS.” [TV Guide]

Grammy-award winning singer/songwriter, Michael Bolton will appear in the season opener of “Two and a Half Men.” [EW]

Weekly TV News: ‘House,’ ‘Parks and Rec,’ and ‘Celebrity Apprentice.’

Hello guys! Atawewe here with your TV News update. I have some good news and bad news. Let’s start with the sad news.

Yup! You guessed it. The TV show “House” will not be returning for another season. Season 8 will mark the end of our (excluding my sister) beloved, “I do not give a shit,” Dr. Gregory House. It was with great regret that FOX’s President announced this news on Wednesday. It has been a great ride for “House,” winning a lot of awards and staying relevant for 8 seasons is no joke. Say goodbye ‘House” fans, this will be the last season of your favorite show. I’m glad the show is ending in its prime, are you? Are you sad, happy, or indifferent about this news?

The good news:

The long awaited biggest night in the music industry, the 54th Grammys Awards show will be live this Sunday. Chris Brown, Rihanna, Coldplay, Adele, and Katy Perry are some of the artists performing this year. Alicia Keys will be joined on stage by Bonnie Raitt to honor the late “At Last” singer, Etta James. Jennifer Hudson will pay tribute to Whitney Houston, who passed away last night. Music biggest night airs on CBS this Sunday at 8/7 c! Are you looking forward to the show as i am?…

…due to the Grammys, “The Good Wife” will return next Sunday. Tune in to find out if Will will be disbarred.

We can all agree that Parks and Recreation is currently having its best season ever. ;) The surprises: the campaign, Ben and Lesile’s relationship and April little acts of kindness has made the season awesome.
