Rob Kazinsky Joins ‘True Blood’

According to Deadline, Robert Patrick has been promoted to a series regular on the drama series. Patrick played Alcide’s (Joe Manganiello) father on HBO’s vampire series “True Blood.”

The “X Flies” vet recently starred on ABC’s ill-fated “Last Resort.”

‘Revolution’ Taps a ‘Taken’ Actor And More Casting News

Leland Orser joins revolution

NBC’s “Revolution” cast “Taken” and “Sons of Anarchy” actors.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Leland Orser, who starred in the “Taken” franchise has been tapped to play John Samborn on the drama series. Samborn is described as a “tense scientist who loves to build weapons.”

Meanwhile, “Sons of Anarchy” actor Patrick St. Esprit, will play a tough rebel leader, named Wayne Ramsey, EW reports.

Both actors are join the series in possible recurring roles.

“Revolution” airs Mondays, at 10 p.m. on NBC.

“Person of Interest” casts another “Lost” alum.

Mark Pellegrino, who played Jacob on the drama series, will guest star on “Person of Interest.”

According to EW, “POI” creator Jonathan Nolan revealed at New York Comic-Con, that Pellegrino will play the head of a publishing empire on the CBS’ drama.

Pellegrino fellow “Lost” vet Michael Emerson, who played Ben Linus on “Lost” stars on the drama series.

“Person of Interest” airs Thursdays on CBS.

FX Reveals Fall Premiere Schedule

FX has announced its fall premiere dates.

Kicking things off this fall is “Sons of Anarchy.” The drama bows out Sept. 11 at 10/9c, FX announced today. While comedies: “The League,” “It;s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” and “Brand X” premiere on Oct. 17.

As previously announced, American Horror Story: Asylum will premiere at 10 pm on Wednesday, Oct. 17.

CBS’ new fall drama series “Vegas” has booked two recurring characters.

Vinessa Shaw and Michael Wiseman (The Closer) have been cast in the ’60s mob crime drama, Deadline reports. Shaw (3:10 to Yuma) will play Michael Chiklis’ wife.

Additionally, Wiseman will play Joey Rizzo, a hot-headed right-hand man of Chicago gangster Angelo Lombardi (Jonathan Banks).

The ’60s mob drama kicks off Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 10 p.m. ET.

Kurt Sutter, the creator of “Sons of Anarchy” revealed today that, “SOA” will end after its seventh season. THR

What happened to the “24″ movie you ask? According to Kiefer Sutherland, the movie will shoot next summer. ”We didn’t have a script ready for [filming] until very close to the end of ‘Touch,’” Kiefer said at Fox’s Television Critics Association party. Huff Post TV

Is “America Got Talent” judge, Sharon Osbourne leaving “AGT”? According to this tweet, Osbourne said , she is not returning to the show not because of money but because of something else. However, Tuesday, at the Television Critics Association NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt said the announcement was unexpected. “This is coming out of context and sort of spontaneously, and we don’t even know what’s going on. And it’s probably much ado about nothing,” Greenblatt said.

NBC has picked up a new series called, “Dracula.” The series is based on Bram Stoker’s novel Dracula. Jonathan Rhys Meyers has been cast to play the lead role. Get more deets about the show here.
